Hey Hey Hey… we’re back with another AMAZING recipe featuring our Young Living Vitality Oils…  Oven Roasted Tomato Sauce is one of my favorite things to make with juicy ripe tomatoes at their peak of flavor! And roasting them seems to concentrate their sweetness and intensify their flavors even more….

You can use this roasted tomato sauce recipe in the same way that you use traditional spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce. Just serve it over your favorite pasta.
Or, if you prefer a low carb option, you can serve it over zucchini noodles or even spaghetti sauce.



Here’s the recipe:

Roasted Tomato Sauce

YIELDS: Approximately 4 cups

PREP TIME: 20 minutes

COOK TIME: 30 minutes


Ingredients: 3 lbs. Tomatoes (Roma tomatoes work great)

1/3 Cup Olive Oil

1 tsp salt, divided

1 tsp sugar, divided (optional, will aide caramelization and balance acidity)

2 drops Basil Vitality Essential Oil

2 drops Oregano Vitality Essential Oil

2 drops Thyme Vitality Essential Oil

2 drops Black Pepper Vitality Essential Oil



1. Preheat oven to 400°

2. Add Vitality Oils to Olive Oil

3. Cut clean tomatoes in half and place cut side up on a baking tray.

4. Drizzle tomatoes with Olive and Essential Oil mixture.

5. Sprinkle tomatoes with ½ teaspoon salt and sugar

6. Roast tomatoes for 30 minutes.

7. Remove from oven and carefully pour tomatoes and juices in to a deep glass or stainless-steel bowl.

8. Use an Immersion Blender (regular blender will work too) to carefully puree the tomatoes.

9. Remove tomato skins from sauce.

10. Add remaining ½ teaspoon salt and sugar to taste.

11. Enjoy!
