Perfumes are known to have nasty chemicals including acetone, benzaldehyde, ethanol, and methylene chloride. Yuck! You can easily have a personalized scent AND stay away from chemicals by creating your own perfume with essential oils.

Perfume basics include the “notes” that make up the blend. Typically, you smell the quickly evaporating top notes first, followed by the middle notes which are the heart of the perfume. Finally, you smell the base notes, which complement the top and middle notes.
